Irish born Aoife (EE-fa) moved to New York in the late 90's, where she discovered yoga and soon became hooked. From New York to Los Angeles, Aoife experienced the burgeoning yoga scene. Some of the teachers Aoife regularly practiced with were Eric Schiffman, Bryan Kest, Ashley Turner, Govind Das, and Jo Tastula.
Aoife received her 200 hour training with Yoga Works in Santa Monica and went on to assist the first Yoga Works training in the UK in 2019. She completed her 300 hour training with her main vinyasa teacher Jason Crandell in 2021. One of her biggest influences has been restorative yoga and yoga Nidra.
