What is Reformer Pilates?

Invented by Joseph Pilates, the Reformer is a spring-loaded machine that supports and challenges your body in equal measure. Unlike Mat Pilates, which relies solely on bodyweight, the Reformer uses a moving carriage, adjustable resistance, and supportive straps to guide you through a wide range of controlled movements - lying down, sitting, kneeling, or standing.

Combines strength, flexibility, and co-ordination in every session
Adjustable resistance allows each exercise to be modified for any fitness level
Supports your body while increasing challenge, helping you access positions and muscle engagement that are difficult to achieve on the mat

"The Pilates method teaches you to be in control of your body and not at its mercy."

- Joseph Pilates

What Our Students Say

“Reformer Pilates has been a total game-changer for me. It felt accessible right from the start—the springs gave me support when I needed it, and I could build up gradually at my own pace. It’s supportive yet challenging, and over time it’s made me more balanced, more aware, and honestly stronger than I’ve ever felt.”
